Last week I went for a price quote for flowers at Stefans. Upon leaving he gave both my mom and I a bouquet of roses. I thought his quote was alittle high, but I said I would think about it. This afternoon when I got home from work there was a huge dried flower arrangement at my door from Stefans! Did anyone else get something like this from a florist when you went to them to look? Guess he really wants my business!

that's pretty sweet to give you flowers as you left, but i think i might be a little freaked out if he sent them to my house too..... i've never had anything like that with any of the florists i've seen....

Seriously, I think it's just a little extra he does to get business. I'm sure it works for him half the time...his own personal touch.

I wish mine did that.
Friend 'A' got married like 10 years ago and used stefans. Lets make the story short. Between the ceremony and the reception the flowers died, and stefans had to go back to their shop and get more flowers. Meanwhile friend 'B' got married around the same time, same flowers different florist and didnt go thru anything of the sort. Good luck.

Beware of Stephans! I have 2 friends who used them and were terribly dissatisfied with the results. One had dead flowers in her bouquet and another did not get the centerpieces agreed upon.
I've also heard he is way overpriced.

I didn't use that florist...but when I went for my appointment, he made me a sample that I got to take home!

I went to stefan's. I was given flowers to take home and within a few weeks received a pretty pot of dried flowers as well. I booked with Colonial Florist instead.I just got a call this week from the person we dealt with at stefan's seeing if we wanted to come in for a sample centerpiece. We went to Stefan's back in August. I decided to be nice and call back with the info that we went with someone else. Prices seemed almost similar but MUCH more personal service at Colonial. Irene is teriffic!
