Yes. I emailed them to thank them for their time but we wont be using their svcs and they never even wrote back! Total opposite experience with my photo people. I had met with 3 photographers and the other 2 that we did not use sent a very nice email congratulating us and happy planning.

yesss..I felt so bad, but FH told me 'you need to grow a pair' LOL... she totally scolded me via email..I didn't respond, and just had to move on... oh well

Yes when I called a RH back to thank them for their time but that I booked with someone else the lady asked me who I booked with and when I told her she said and I quote 'good luck with that' super snotty and hung up on me!

That's ridiculous - there are plenty of reasons for you choosing to go with a different vendor. A lot of times, you may have really liked a particular vendor but just opted to go with someone else. Now, because they left you with a sour note, you won't be recommending them.
For example, I booked my dj company, but I had a really great experience working with a sales rep from another company. I would not hesitate to recommend the one I did not go with because she was pleasant from start to finish.

Yep had the same issue with a vendor for my flowers as well. She kept calling me everyday after I told her I would contact her when we made our decision. One day she called and I finally told her we went with someone else she had such an attitude!

Yep, a RH Banquet Manager did that to me, actually ... The guy started bashing a bunch of other RH's when I told him his price was too high for me (his prices jumped about $30/plate for a holiday weekend) - then he told me to change the date. So I changed my date, and I went with a RH where the BM had manners!

that is bizarre, but I think it happened to me because I was really getting along with someone at one place but didn't book with them, and when I called to let them know and apologize she seemed mad and brushed me off...

Glad I'm not alone... after I told someone I wasn't booking with them, they totally lied and said they weren't going to charge me for something that I remember them quoting me for. The person got really short with me too, I could totally tell they were offended. I don't get it...this happens all the time I'm sure. People are really weird!
