We went ring shopping but in the end he got something different which I love even more

I knew I was getting a pear shaped ring, I just had to decide between trillions on the side or pear shaped diamonds on the side. I wasn't sure which one to get. He surprised me with trillions on the side. I love it!!

I was surprised the only thing I really picked was the shape of the diamond. Everything else was all him.

He did it all himself. He knew I wanted round! He is the best!! I LOVE IT!

I got to pick it out. The surprise was while we were having dinner one night and he just looked at me and said, 'let's go shopping for the ring tonight.' I was like, 'really?' We both started to cry tears of joy in the restaurant. He really liked the princess cut. So he sort of picked out and I was like... Ohhhhhhhhhhh Yeahhhhhhh. lol.

I was totally surprised....The only thing I told him was that I wanted a round diamond...everything else was a surprise!

well we went to fortunoffs - and looked at some rings just so he could check sizes and various styles - I actually thought he would probably get me a solitaire so I was actually surprised because the actually ring is the exact one I wanted but not one that I tried on or looked at with him

He did it all on his own. Except he brought up the topic of rings once and I described what I'd like. But he did the rest himself... total surprise!!!

Mine is an heirloom and I was surprised on how absolutely beatiful it is, and especially since it is an heirloom I feel very proud to wear it.

a little of both surprised and picked it out. We looked at rings and I sent him emails of websites about buying rings, diamonds, the 4C's of diamonds, where to buy, etc...as well as emails with pics of rings. He went and got my ring (with the help of his cousin) and surprised me.

We never really discussed rings before. I was very supprised! He did a great job. I knew he would because he has great taste!!

I picked mine and I was with him when he bought it. The surprise was when he gave it to me.

He did it all on his own. Maybe not exactly what I would've picked, but he put so much thought into choosing this ring, and it means the world to me!

We went looking... then proposed to for my birthday without the ring. I ordered the one I wanted from Blue Nile. He said he wanted me to pick it out because he wanted me to be happy with it (I will be wearing it for the rest of my life)

KP~I am so happy to see that I am not the only one who ordered on line! Ashford.com, I designed my own ring. I drove the poor FedEx crazy for two days!

I was surprised that he bought the one we picked together (two years before !!)

But I love it (of course!) When he proposed I said is that mine? and grabbed it out of his hand!!

I told him that I wanted a Heart shaped stone. just in conversation. He picked everything else he actually designed it himself AND I LOVE IT!!!! When He asked me I said SHUT UP AND GET UOT OF HERE> I ALSO SAID DONT MESS WITH ME LIKE THIS! LOL
