when pricing reception halls, did you ask for a 'complete price'? I just hate to sit there and get itemized pricing that can be misleading, so I wonder if any of you that went to different RH's asked for the price including tax/grat and any other additionals?, b/c that's what I plan to do...

i mean, complete price-per head

We figured it out ourselves before we went back and said yes.

yeah they will give it to you anyways but once they say the price just ask if its including tax and gratuity

The places I went to gave it to us. But we always double checked and asked it it includes tax and gratuities.

I did mainly because FH is bad at math..lol.. I figured it out for myself but just wanted to make sure of any possible 'hidden fees' and such.

yeah they gave me the total after taxes and gratuity and crap....I had to ask though

my RH told me the price per person before tax and gratuity, then added it to give me the price including tax and gratuity.

My hall gave it to me, but I also calculated it on my own.

My place gave it to us itemized and then gave us the % we needed to know in order to figure out true total.

yeah joe did it all in his head before they gave him the answer, when they started it and used the calculator he had the answer faster than the calculator, he's SHHHMART!!! lol

i know your boy can do the same helen You have a math wiz as well so im sure you'll do fine
