did you book flowers yet?

Just curious. For some reason, I'm thinking this will be the most difficult and most annoying one to do!!

I am with you on that. I am not looking forward to paying thousands of dollars for FLOWERS!!! They are beautiful, but just so rediculously price for weddings.

I hear ya...I am thinking of doing my own candle centerpieces, to save money. Considering that photos and DJ are turning out to be more $ that I anticipated them to be.

You should also just check out your regular everyday florist.

I have not booked flowers yet, but I think I know who I'd like to go with. You know when you just can tell you're going to click with a vendor because they really 'get' what you're looking for? Well, I think we've got that

I'm going to try Burtons, Flower Michelle and Jack and Rose. I was going to just go with James Cress, because their work is beautiful, and my dad's cousin is the mgr. of the Port Jeff branch or something like that, but I've changed my mind. I've heard that they're really expensive and even if we get a good deal from my dad's cousin, I'm afraid that it'll still be too much. I'd be too embarrassed to say no, if they give us a deal, because I don't want them to think I was expecting it for free or anything. You know what I mean? I'm going to e-mail the florists that I mentioned above and tell them what I want and see if I can get a quote. I'll then go and see them next time I'm in NY (who knows when that'll be?).

My friend works for James Cress, and he gave me some inside advice to look elsewhere.
