I can rent one cheap, i'm too lazy to make one (i'll probably end up hurting myself anyway), and if I buy one I can save all the cards and stuff in it. i'm leaning towards buying one.
what did you girls do?

Re: Did you buy, rent, or make your card box?
My father may attempt to make me one, or I may be borrowing mine from another bride.

DH takes the honors on making ours.
It was a lot easier to make than it looks!!! Very easy if you have a power screwdriver!!!
technically I have no card box yet, I have 5 attached sides of what could someday be a cardbox - if only I could figure out how to attach the lid!
Do you want the DIY thread with the directions to finish it off?

I bought one this past weekend. I would have loved to make the picture frame card box, but I just don't have the time. I might do a few things to personalize the one I bought, but I'll definitely store wedding keepsakes in it after the 'big day' is over.

Aside from the birdcage, treasure box, photocube, and bridal bodice (which I can't seem to find!)...What other options are out there? I heard that someone had a great see through cube...anyone know of that?

The glass cubes - they're all over Ebay if you search there.

I bought mine from an Ebay seller. She is AWESOME. She makes everything herself.
Her Ebay name is sewwhattlp.
