We got our tree at Lowes last year the day after Thanksgiving. They had a huge selection...and all reasonably priced. Everything from 3ft pre-lit to 10ft pre-lit. We got a four foot pre-lit, 3 extra strands of light and a few deocrations all for under $65. I can't wait till the day after Thanksgiving to put it up! Our first decorated tree as a married couple! We can put all our 'First Christmas' decorations up!

I don't think a white tree is bad. It's retro. My Nanny had a white rotating tree!!! That was money!

Kmart is in Farminville off of North Ocean and then there is one off of Sunrise Hwy in Bohemia.

I would love a fake tree, so much easier. But DH insists on a real tree and it's such a pain in the a$s. So no, we don't have our tree yet

We're getting another real tree this year. I grew up with fake and I love the smell and the fun of it. I think we're going to have to wait at least another month before we get it though!

we got ours a few years i think three years ago at harrow's season ending sale - fortonoff always has the most AMAZING stuff but a bit $$$.

Thanks for all the stores! I went to Home Depot in Westbury and they had such pretty ones! I found what I was looking for! Thanks!
We are going to get a real one. We don't have room to store a fake one. It will be our first tree.

we borrow my mom's fake tree and she gets a real one with roots and then we plant it in the yard after christmas (however we have to dig the whole now because the grounds too frozen after xmas )

we got ours when we first moved in together. i cant have a real rtee cuz im allergic. but we got it from michaels...the whole prelit thing is soooo great.
target carries them as well. if ure buying a fake one...just make sure to check the actual display before you buy it cuz some of them look reallllly fake
