I was thinking of not calling/emailing the people who didn't mail back their RSVP cards.
We have enough people to fulfill our minimum head count.
I don't know if I'm taking it personally but I just don't feel like I should hound people for a response!

It seems like that might give you a huge headache the day-of if a significant amt of people who didnt send back the card show up... as in, where will they sit etc. It definitely stinks to have to hound ppl, but probably worth at least emailing them to save yourself some aggravation.

I agree. You don't want to have to worry about additional people showing up and then you have to pay the $$ the day of and they have to make place settings, etc. I agree, you shouldn't have to hound them but then again, those people may plan on coming and if they are I would want to know beforehand.

If there was a little response to my rsvp's, I'd probably ask my brother to call them up. I wuold delegate where ever possible to minimize the daunting tasks of speaking to everyone. BTW, my brother is very straight forward and would get definite answers, he likes to know the facts and nothing more. My lil bro is the best!

i didnt want to call the ppl...i felt like i invite you...i paid for a damn stamp...all you do is fill it in and drop in in the mail!! But when it came to the time....most of the ppl who didnt RSVP my mom found out whats the deal..and the few on my DH side I made his mom call. After that it left me with a few calls...and it wasnt too bad! It was kinda funny bc the excuses ppl come up with is great!!!
