I keep hearing and reading about girls or their mothers/bridesmaids crying when they find a dress thats 'the one'. Did you experience that? I went dress shopping with my MOH today...she is the best. One of those ballzy people, very decisive. So didn't like most of the dresses, but liked one in particular. I really liked it too, but I can't say that 'OH MY GOD' I loved it. Its a good price, looks beautiful and fits well. Did you have that 'OH MY GOD' feeling?

You know what? My mom actually did cry when I put on 'The DRESS'. I was really surprised at her reaction. It definitely helped me decide though. It really was the only dress I liked and it looked so princesslike.
In fact, I had my dress fitting the other day. My mom came with and she really had not seen the dress for a while. I saw her eyes start to tear. Sounds silly, but I guess moms get really emotional.
If a dress does not give you that incredible feeling, I would suggest you keep looking. You simply know when it is the one. I saw a lot of beautiful dresses, but none that looked amazing on me. In fact, the dress I bought I was initially not that drawn to, but when I tried it on I felt like Cinderella at the ball.
Good luck!

Re: Did you cry?
I have to say...I didn't cry...when I found the first dress I bought...Like you said...I liked it, the price was great, my mom loved it, she cried...I bought it... then...about a month later...BM dress shopping...and I see something on the hanger, that looked like a faux fur trimmed cape...(I had been looking for one, I'm getting married in February...) well, it was a faux fur trimmed dress...Mom FORCED me to try it on, even though I already had a dress...I put that one on....And cried...it was everything I imagined I was supposed to feel like...I felt beautiful...It was like me and the first dress...were just friends...this one, was true love!!! hence...I have two dresses...and am trying to sell the first one I bought!!!

Re: Did you cry?
My mom hasn't seen it yet, maybe she'll cry, lol But maybe i'm just being practical. Good price, good dress, the size at the store was perfect (fit me like a glove). Speaking of which....these sizes are ridiculous. The wedding dress size is double the size I wear in a regular dress.

Re: Did you cry?
I didn't cry. I loved the dress though and didn't want to take it off once I had it on. My mother was with me and she didn't cry either, I think she just wanted to get out of there and go home!

Re: Did you cry?
my eyes watered, my palms started sweating, I felt dizzy!!!
I couldn't believe that was my reaction. It was opposite of what I was looking for but when I tried it on with so many others, I kept going back to mine
