I went to my dermatologist and got a chemical peel...made my face feel so soft and fresh.

WHATEVER you do i wouldn't do it the night before or too close to the wedding, at least not a facial or something that you have never tried before...If you plan on doing something that is new to you then test it out ahead of time. You don't know how your skin will react to anything

I had a facial once a month for 6 months prior to the wedding- before that I had it every two months or so- it was not really 'for the wedding' but just something I did

I have been getting monthly facials. Honestly I don't know if there is even a big difference. However, I like going to the spa. I don't think I have especially good skin but I don't have bad skin either.
Anyways, I'm getting a facial this weekend (3 weeks before the wedding).
Do you think I should get another facial a week before the wedding?
You shouldn't get facials too close together, right?

I would not get it done the week of the wedding... I don't have bad skin either- however you don't want to 'mess' with anything so close- in case you happen to break out from it- or something... 3 weeks should be fine!

Nah, I was too afraid of having an allergic reaction to something.
I was extra dilligent with my normal acne cream and stuff...

My face has gotten really clear from how it was before due to acne, thank goodness. But if I get really bad acne before my wedding I will prob get laser surgery to remove scars, pimps, redness etc, but that would be months before and a facial prob a couple of weeks before the big day. If someone has acne DO NOT put prescription med or anything with saliylic acid on your face the night before bec that will make your face really red and peel, put LISTERINE that is what worked for me

I've been seeing my dermatologist for the mild adult acne I've developed. I've been using the medication to treat that. But I also plan to go for a facial very soon...and at least two weeks prior to the wedding.

ive been getting facials. My next one is at the end of May. Then after that two weeks before my wedding i want to do either a vitamin C facial or oxygen facial.

Sure ill let you know! I plan on doing it about 2 weeks before the wedding. Ive heard really great things about it.
