I'm wondering who did custom stamps? was it worth the money?? Its like double the price!

I looked into it. It's not worth it in my eyes. I mean the envelope is the first thing that goes in the garbage.

im not going to because it's probably going to cost near $2 per invite already and i really dont want the extra expense

We didn't do custom stamps but for the STD's, we got these stickers from Shutterfly.com that had one of the e-pics on it and 'Save the Date' written on it. We sealed the envelopes with them.
It's a nice way to add a little something extra to the outside envelope and a lot cheaper than getting custom stamps.

We did custom stamps for our save the dates. I don't think it's worth the money. We liked the way they turned out, but why spend double on stamps when most people don't even notice, and the rest throw the envelope away anyway?!

We did and it was worth every penny.
We got a zazzle voucher through groupon which brought down the price to only 12 cents more then stamp value.
It completed the custom look we were going for....

i think its a cute idea but def not worth the money when i saw that it was double i thoguht of what other things i could spend that money on that would be more practical instead of something guests will literally throw in the garbage

I did...I actually got a lot of compliments.
My stamps were .84 so either I had to get custom ones or put two stamps. I didn't want to use two so I just did the custom. If I had .64 stamps I would have just gotten regular ones.
For the RSVP I used the rings stamp.

i did it but only because my invitation was .84 and i didnt like the 1 the post office had and im so against a wedding invitation having more then 1 stamp on it...its expensive but it really came out very pretty and im happy i did it now..i was so against it at first tho

I only bought 20 custom stamps for the immediate family...and everyone else got regular postage.
