Did you ever...

Did you ever...

See a couple get married, and you just KNOW based on your dealings with them that its a bad idea? I've seen couples where they nag obsessively and bicker, have insane jealously issues, etc. Its scares me sometimes how people jump into marriages when their pre-marriage relationship doesnt seem that great!!

UCK its a huge peeve of mine when women reprimand their significant other or tell them what to do, esp in a public setting.

Re: Did you ever...

UGH I just happened to see a myspace page for a couple that I knew through friends. They attended a wedding that I also attended, and my then boyfriend was in the wedding, as was this other guy. The guy was a chronic cheater; the girl was obessively jealous and threw an embarassing FIT b/c she was upset that he had to dance the first dance with a BM, since he was an usher. I was so disgusted by the two of them, and now they're married! Wonder how long that ones gonna last...

Even worse is when you know one of the two is completely cheating on the other and you are not in the position to tell the other since you are only meeting them for the first time on their wedding day!

I'm sure its not, but I've only witnessed some girls I know treating their significant other like a child, telling them what to eat, telling them to stop doing things, etc. UGH.

On truebrideconfessions a bride shared that she returned from her hair and make-up trial and her FH said she looked like a crossdresser.

Holy crap! Does she think marriage will turn that a-hole into prince charming?

ugh yeah i know exactly what you mean. I won't even say some of the situations i am thinking about.

I HATE that so much...i'll admit i used to be like that a long time ago and honestly all it did was just make me look like an a** and now i look back and its so embarassing...All you prove to everyone is that 'HEY look at us we have alot of issues' not even the fact that you're sticking up for yourself or anything like that. Because of having been like that in the past i do all i can now not to do that. If something does bother me, ill bite my lip and wait until we're alone to say something but then its funny bc most of the time by that time you end up forgetting or not even caring about it, you end up having a great night and realizing how insignificant it was. But i've been around some women who make it uncomfortable for everybody that is out and even i sit there like OMG how does he take it

wait was that too opinionated lol

Re: Did you ever...

what about when someone's FH tells you flat out that he doesn't want to get married and then does it anyway - i think -oh poor girl - and then continues to treat like garbage and she still has no clue

i think alot of times the girl feels she has to do that, like sometimes a bf will make a joke or something like that and honestly it won't even be that bad and then they over react and its like ok no need to go crazy now we all thought it was a joke and you doing this makes it seem bad. This particular couple did eventually break up but everytime we did go hang out with them even before fh and i would get there we would prepare ourselves for what was to come

I know. You feel bad for the one person and want to tell them but because of circumstances you can't say anything. UGH!

Re: Did you ever...

I almost feel like these two jackasses that I just came upon deserve eachother. One of them is going to cheat cheat cheat, and the other is going to be a dramatic, obsessive nut job. Also, her wedding gown was ugly
