Did you ever feel like the wedding is never going to get here, and the more you think of it, the more anticipation you g

I will have a 2 year engagment by the time Fh and I are married. It seems like all this planning and it is never going to get here. It is even harder for me when my mom and dad are gone, and I bring Bm to the store with me and MOH but it is not the same. It almost makes me kind of depressed. I have 9 months left, but I guess I am just anxious. (Just felt like venting)

My engagement is about 1 1/2 years. It does feel like it will never come...people keep saying to enjoy this time and that it flies....but i just want to marry my FI already and the time is not going fast enough!!

I do all the planning and shopping with FI mom or friends so I know how you feel. My mom and dad are not around to help either so I get really frustrated at times and think 'why am I doing all this anyway'. FI has to calm me down once in a while and tell what an amazing day it will be for us and our guests.

It does fly by. I have a 1 1/2 year engagement, I have 31 days left...it reallllllly flew by.

Hey Minnie!
I am getting married on March 20, 2004 and you're sooo right-it seems like forever! My 2 girlfriends who both got engaged the same time as I did just got married last weekend and 2 weeks ago and now I'm sad bc I have no one to plan with! Hopefully the 9 months will fly, but I have been engaged since March 2002 and it seems like forever ago!

believe me it will be here. I had 1 1/2 yr and this sat is my wedding

One of the girls on here told me when I first joined to jsut enjoy, so Im poassing it on to you

I have been engaged for a year and a half.....

i feel the same way. my wedding isn't until oct. 23 2005. i've been engaged since february 02. it seems like it's going to be forever before i'm married.

I have been engaged for 2 years also, am now less than three months away I try and keep the wedding stuff in perspective- after all, how can one day live up to two years of planning?? I am sure things will go wrong, and after all that planning, I want everything to be perfect...but I know (realistically) that is impossible I enjoyed our long engagement though, I was able to take breaks when the planning stopped being fun, so I had a blast planning everything. It will go by a lot faster than you think...I cannot believe we are finally sending out our invites tomorrow

I didn't want to have a long engagement. Actually, if it were up to me...we would be married in 5mos. We are doing it in 9mos. And to me 9 mos. is still to far away! I hate the anticipation!

My engagement will be almost two years when I get married. But it is flying. We are now down to less than 8 months. I have so much to do. I am actually panicking I won't get things done.
