We are not exchanging gifts. We are spending a fortune on tomorrow night so that is our gift to each other

We didn't go crazy since everything has been going into the house.
I made him a scrapbook of our first married year together, it was something I wanted to make to look back on in the future.
He ordered me the new Harry Potter book that he knows I can't wait to read. Although our anniversary was a month ago and the book doesn't come out until next weekend!!!

We did not BUY each other gifts. Our son is our gift to each other!! He was 7 weeks old for our anniversary.
We agreed not to buy anything b/c we're trying to save $ and get ahead of the game to buy a house.

yes i got dh a map- a big wall map it comes with push pins that show where we have been and where we want to go!
dh got me a beautiful aqua marine and diamond necklace.

We went away for the weekend and agreed to make each other something homemade. I made him a memory frame and gave me a bunch of coupons he made for stuff. It was very sweet.

We are not exchanging gifts. We are going out to a special dinner on our actual anniversary, and then going to Mexico a few days later.
ETA: I do plan to get him a nice card though, and I am sure he will get me one too.

We went away last month. We had a nice dinner and on our actual anniversary we are having a take out dinner or DH is cooking for me. Not sure yet.
ETA- I went out and got him a pocket watch. I am going to have it engraved.

Our gift to e/o was our baby girl (& he did get me an awesome diamond pendant necklace, although that was for having baby), but that was way more than enough!!!!!!!

We just returned from a 10-day vacation this morning (our first wedding anniversary) - we went to California (Sacremento & Hollywood), Lake Tahoe, & a Baja Mexican Cruise. Part of it was a family reunion and the other was to celebrate our anniversary.
My mom bought us the trip for our anniversary but all the spending money was our gift.
BUT THE BIGGEST GIFT IS ..........................
we close on our house on Monday All our money needs to be available for our new home!

Yes, we went on vacation for our anniversary to Vegas ...
Then, I bought DH a Map - that we can put pins in on the places we have been to, places we want to go ...etc...
and Dh bought me tickets to see Spring Awakening in NYC next month!
