My engagement party is coming up and I have contemplated whether or not I should give the girls and guys in the wedding party a lil something. Has anyone done this? If so, what did you get them?

i did not have an engagement party but when i was in my cousins wedding & my friends wedding, neither of them had asked the bridal party until after that.
another friend mailed each bridemaid, maid of honor, flower girl, & grooms men a pin which said there title & they all wore it at the engagement party.

I was thinking of giveing all the bridesmaids and the flower girl corsages to wear during the party, but then I thought that might be stupid

if you plan to announce your BP at your e-party, i think a nice gesture. like a simple flower would be really sweet.

i was wondering the same thing actually
i know that some places make buttons that say 'bridesmaid' and 'maid of honor' etc, but then it made me wonder what would we give the guys???
im sure girls would like to wear the button, but guys might think its weird...
any ideas for guys??
also i liked it for the girls cuz then they can wear it at future things, shower, rehearsal dinner, etc.
if anyone has any other ideas, esp for the guys, please lemme kno!!

look in my album.. we actually announced/asked the bridal party at our e-party and gave them gifts.
BM got bridesmaid shirts that i made vera bradley cosmetic bags with their first initial on it and a card that i made with a poem in it asking them to be my BM
GM got a custom t shirt that said GROOMSMAN on it and danielle and toms wedding on the back a Groomsmen beer bottle (we made them using the Guinness label template) and a cigar

very cute very cute...we asked them already, so that parts done,
i did it in christmas cards, i wrote in them, 'for my christmas present this year, i hope you'll say yes...will you be my bridesmaid?'
does anyone kno if u can get those 'livestrong' plastic bracelet things custom made?? maybe ill do that for the groomsman!!!! in like brown, one of our colors

we had an e-party but we hadnt asked the bridal party at that point so we didnt give them anything
