Ladies , I am so upset. Last night my fiancee and I went to Westbury Manor to have a nice Valentine's Day dinner and I left so disappointed. The food was good but the service was horrible. We waited 20 minutes until we received a menu and the only way we received it was because we asked for it. I really didnt know who our waiter was because their were so many different people helping us. To order desert took another 20 minutes (I had to ask) and by that time I just wanted to leave. I asked for the check 3 times until it came to us. I was so upset and I hope this isnt a sign of whats to come for my wedding.

Re: Did you go to Westbury Manor on Valentines day?
WOW! I have gone there for Christmas Eve, and many other times and never had a problem. I'm dissappointed to hear that! I hope the rest of your valentines' day was great!

We also went last night. Our reservation was for 8:00. What time were you there? You're right, the service was terrible. A few tables around us were complaining to the waiter. It seemed like there was really only 1 waiter. The rest seemed like bus boys in a way. Our waiter was very unpersonal. I wonder if it's because he felt overwhelmed. The food was really great though. Both my fiancee and I loved what we ordered and we asked if they have it on the wedding menu. Both were. We loved the filet mignon (spelling?) and stuffed shrimp with crabmeat. While we were there, we saw two weddings going on. The manor room and Valentinegirl was upstairs. Both weddings seem to be having an incredible time. Can't wait to hear reviews!

Sorry you had a bad experience. I never have any problems there. They were probably overwhelmed with all the Valentine's dinners. All restaurants lose a little on such big holidays. Glad the food was good though!!

Sorry to hear that...I have eaten there a few times and had no problem. They should have had more help for the restaurant.

I'll bet they were overwhelmed/overbooked for the holiday.
I am sure your wedding will be wonderful. I have really only heard good things about that place. If we didn't need Suffolk I was going to look there.
