Did you go with FH to pick out tuxes??

My FH is going tomorrow to pick out his tux, and I always just thought I would go with him but he doesn't want me to go. I am freaking out!! I have no idea what he is going to pick out.

I didn't go with him, but we had looked online previously and he knew what I liked. He went with his best man.

We went together. He did most of the decision making, but I had to add my two cents in! It was fun.

I didn't go with him, but I trusted his taste. As long as your guy doesnt have funky taste you should be good ;)

There was a similar post in regard to this and I said that FH was a big boy and could dress himself. I also said he had presence of mind to ask me what he should get.

Well I thought I'd ask him if he knew what to do. I was mistaken. He didn't know. He thought I'd want the vests to match the ladies dresses - I wont. I prefer to have them men in black vests (regardless of what the ladies wear) with long ties and a notch collar. He also didn't know that grooms traditionally wear white vests.

So basically, communicate your preferences and trust they will do the right thing.

I went with mine. I wanted to make sure what he picks goes with the rest of the wedding 'theme'; especially since he hates the idea of our wedding having a theme

I helped him pick the tux - but he picked one he liked. He also fit his vest - he wanted a black one even though I really wanted him in White, but I picked the color for the GM.

We went together..haven't decided on a place yet tho...We've done the planning together..well I did most of the planning but he accompanied me to meet all the vendors...only place he didn't accompany me was the bridal suite where I got my dress!

I'm printing out pictures right no so that hopefully we will be on the 'same page'- I really don't want any surprises when I walk into the church.

GO WITH HIM. We were just in the same situation. He might get nervous and not even know what he's picking!! I know my guy was. Just tell him that it's traditional for the bride to go w/the groom to pick out his tux Let him pick what he wants (with a little bit of your help). After all, it's his day too.

We havent even thought about that yet.....only enough for FH to say.....'umm...youre gonna come w/ me right..b/c i dont know what im doing so youll have to be there............' hes so funny...so i will be going with him...

we went together, he chose the tux, and i chose the vest and colors for him, gm's and dads.
and he picked the shoes

I went with him because he really wanted me to. He actually wouldn't go without me! He's so cute sometimes. He has really good taste, so I'm not sure why he thinks he needs my help!
