Did you have say in your bridal shower/bachelorette party?

Or did your BP just plan it by themselves and you show up?

i just asked for my shower...that there be italian food. otherwise, they handled it all.

for my bach. party--it was held at my apt. my sister did mostly everything, i just had to help set up all the food she made.

the shower was a complete suprise..... bachelorette i just helped plan the date & place....everything else (games & such) were fun suprises. I was very adoment about it being appropriate so I had anxiety about 'We're picking u up that's all u need to know' - i didn't want strippers or anything.... besides - the only two bridesmaids that stayed on top of things were really my MOH & SIL...... so they asked if i'd like to help.

I'm helping my Sister (MOH) with the planning of the BP. I have nothing to do with the Shower. My mom and girls know me well enough to know what I'd like and no matter what they do I know I'll love it and have a blast.

shower was a surprise... I had no input in planning at all! (fine with me!)

My bachelorette party-

My best friend and I were MOH for eachother exactly ONE month apart... we have similar friends, so we decided to do a joint bach. party..we planned it all and we did the inviting. Our friends and did bring some other stuff and do things for us to surprise us but we planned the where and when

I have had imput in both. My mom is taking care of the shower and she has consulted with me on what I want, etc. My bridal party is taking care of the bachelorette but they ask me my thoughts.

I have input for where i wanted to go and what hotel. I also know who will be coming since im getting them all little gifts.

Bridal shower will be a total suprise for me.

I am planning the entire bach party and most likely paying for some of it because my friends are poor and if i we do what i want to do we may need some money.

My mom is paying for the entire shower which is great!
