the long island father that accidently ran over and killed his daughter on Father's Day? Well it was our computer teachers cousin and another teachers sisters friend. The father is on suicide watch that is how devastaed he is. I posted earlier on how there is a black cloud over the faculty in my school. this is just another thing to add onto it....

He lives in my town and my FH parents know his parents very well.
It is such a tragic accident.

Re: did you here about
actually they are my FI's cousins (they have a huge family). The little girls name was Agatha and she was named after her grandmother that passed away from cancer about 4 years ago. The family is absolutly devastated, I was at the wake tonight and will be there again tomorrow night...she was a bright, beautiful ray of sunshine. Please pray for them and keep them in your thoughts-its been an absolutly devastating few days for them. Thanks Tonia

Re: did you here about
Tonia - my deepest sympathies to your family. I don't know if you saw my post just 2 months ago. This horrible tragedy struck in my family as well.
My SIL lost her 16month old son Alec, when my FIL ran him over backing down the driveway in an SUV.
Its been 2 months, and its still very hard for the family. We were watching my FIL very closely for awhile, as we were also concerned he could be suicidal.
When I saw the article I was wondering if the families would benefit from talking to each other? I know Adriann, my SIL, has found some books and couselors that have helped her get through this. I'd be happy to provide any info I can to the Cavallaro's.
Who else can understand what they're going through other than someone it happened too...
They may also be interested in the memorial we're creating for Alec. We're building a playground for underpriviledged children in his memory, so that his spirit can live on.
