Did you know about your shower?

I really don't care for my shower to be a secret only because I work on Saturdays and every other Sunday now so I will have to take off from that job in advance and I hate surprises! I would rather just know and prepare for it....so I found out today it is most def. in June but now that I know I feel funny knowing does that make sense? How many of you knew it was your shower?

I know about mine. My mom knows I have anxiety when it comes to being in a place with a lot of people, ESPECIALLY if it's for me. I hate to be the center of attention (you'd never guess, right , lol) it makes me really nervous. I get all red and sweaty.

OMG me too you have no idea...i am already dreading open the gifts and sitting there while people stare and to boot, most of my mother's friends are Greek and have these crazy long last names I am afraid of pronouncing wrong!

Opening presents was definitely weird! I dont get anxiety but I just have to say that it is very odd.

Yeah see I try to and have been most successful in avoiding speaking in front of large crowds, just not my thing!

Ohh, I'm the same way! Even though, I'll be among family and friends, I'm still really very shy and hate being the center of attention. And, I tend to be kind of soft spoken so my voice doesn't really carry, so I'm a little self-conscious about that. My cousin/MOH was teasing me telling me she was going to get me a microphone...I told her I'd kill her if she did!

Hmm, might not be a bad idea! I get a little flushed sometimes when I drink, so not sure about that.

I know about mine... my mom had to make sure i'd be home in NY for that one, and then FMIL wanted to give me one in Pittsburgh also and had to make sure i'd be there too! I told them both though that I don't want to know any of the details about them!
