Did you know he was the 'one' when you first met

ok so how did you know he was the one when you first met was it a feeling ? a look ? a kiss ? for me it was a look!!! we met couldnt take our eyes off of each other !!!!! he kept looking from my eyes down to my lips and back up again !! he told me later because he couldnt wait to kiss me ! and turns out I was doing the same thing ! that kiss was all it took :) and of course when he first smiled my way !!!!!!! couldnt resist nor did I want to try !!!!!!!!!!! the funny thing was he wasnt someone that would be considered my 'type' he was on the short side kinda funny looking :) with a big goofy grin !!! when I would go for they guys 6ft and over with the pretty boy looks ! after seeing the way he smiled looking at me that was it I fell hard !!!!!! after spending time together and all the little things like telling strangers how cute I am to not being able to hang up without saying say it say it say it (love you ) he is the one :)

My FH is totally not the type I typically went for. On our first date we talked so much about everything...we closed out the resturant we had dinner at and then we sat out in my car (middle of January) and talked (just talked) till the sun came up. It was an awsome first date...and on my way home I knew that , that was my last first date.

awww how totally cute !!!! I forgot about the sitting in the car days !!!!!!!!!!!! still now sometimes I cant get 2 words out without him kissing me !!!!!!!!!!

OMG....our 2nd date was a week later and we talked on the phone 2x b/4, and only got like three hrs of sleep and had to go to work the next day. I still get goose bumps when I think about the beginning days.

nope....we met over a year before we first started dating. We were actually supposed to share an apartment (me, him, and his friend) after grad school when I needed a place to live. I never had any thoughts about him in 'that way'.
But, we met up again over a year later when a mutual friend was moving away. Then, it was love at second sight. I couldn't believe I didn't notice him the first time around. he is everything I ever wanted....but very different than 'my type'.

absolutely not, i was actually dating someone else, met him at a party and didn't really think him anything special, fast forward a year or two later, i am single we meet again and i was attracted and interested this time but 'the one' not i didn't know then either

Oohhh yeah... the second I laid eyes on him, it was just this weird feeling...like he would forever change my life in some way. And he did! To say the least.

In all honesty, NO! We started dating when I was 15 and I was so unsure what love was. We have been dating for almost 9 years. We were friends first and then it grew into love. He is my soulmate but I didn't see that or understand that until my later years.

When I first met FH he was engaged to someone else..five years later, he's been married, divorced and now him and I are getting married.

definitely not. i did think he was handsome. but was not the type of guy that i was into at the time. basically he was really nice, caring, sweet, etc. - just a gentleman. my type at the time was jerks, inconsiderate, players, etc.

we went out the first time and he was so nice i didn't know what to do, i just thought we should stay friends. but i also thought that i should give him another chance - just a second date. and after the second date i knew he was special and there's no way that i could let this one get away. and i didn't!! so glad i decided to just give him a shot at a second date. btw - we didn't kiss till our 3rd date!!!

When we first met he had just gotten out of a long, bad relationship. We connected instantly and talked the entire time, practically to the point of ignoring my friends that we were with. We went to see Jurassic Park III and I made sure to cling to him during the 'scary' parts . But he wasn't sure if we connected so much because of me, or because I was 'not her'. Well we couldn't stop thinking or talking about eachother and then when we crossed paths again 8 months later he made sure to get my # and not let me slip away again. We've been going strong ever since!

Did I know he was 'the one' right away? No, but it didn't take long to figure it out. Within a few months I knew it.

Well considering that we started dating when we were 15 I wasn't really thinking of that, but after a while I started to know...we were actually talking about it the other day and I said it was probably when I was 17....I just got this feeling like 'I am going to marry him'

I'm with you!! I knew as soon as I saw him and I told my friend that I would marry him one day. And here I am 7 1/2 years later, marrying him next year!!
