Did you know it was the one?

Did you know it was the one?

For those of you who have gotten your dress, did you know right away it was 'the' dress?

I found a dress a loved but later found out it was discontinued. Then I found 2 dresses at another store that I really like, but I haven't gotten the this is it feeling. I was jsut curious to see if everyone else got that feeling or not.

I knew the dress I picked was 'the one' because I passed by it and it caught my eye.... but the woman helping me didn't pull it for me to try on & I didn't say any thing.
She pulled a bunch of dresses that just weren't *IT*. She said 'I have one more dress, but it's discontinued, so if it doesn't fit we can't order a different size or anything like that unfortunately'... sure enough it was the dress that had caught my eye earlier & it fit me like a glove! Everyone around stopped to look at me in my dress & my family & MOH were like that's it, that's it!
So that's how I knew!

I found my dress at the 4th salon I went to. I really liked it, but I didn't want to buy it yet because I had another appointment the following week at another salon.

The next salon had the same dress, so I tried on a few dresses but when I put on 'the dress' I knew. I had narrowed it down to 2 dress and I was going to try on the other option, but I didn't. Instead, I put on 'the dress' again. It wasn't until I made up my mind and picked it that I began to get emotional. I def got the feelings that everyone talks about.

When I went dress shopping, I told the lady what I liked, and somehow a dress ended up in my try-on pile that was the complete opposite. I put it on and laughed at first because it wasn't what I envisioned at all...I took it off immediately...and then a minute later I put it back on and stood there looking at it for about 45 minutes LOL...and I still can't stop thinking about it...going back to say yes to the dress on Saturday!

I didn't know what I was supposed to feel. My dress was about half way through my try on process. When I first put it on I didn't want to take it off, but I tried on the rest anyway. Then when I was done I asked to put 'mine' on again. I think my whole demeanor changed, the way I walked in it and everything. It wasn't even one I looked at or saw before.

I had a similar experience. I found mine and then kept going, even though I loved it. But every dress after that didn't compare. I just wanted to keep trying on my dress. My mom and MOH knew it was my dress as soon as I walked out in it.

I went to a billion places before finding it. I just new. At first I didnt want to try it on bc it was in spun gold but then I put it on and LOVED it! It came in recently and I love it even more in Ivory!! :)

If you want to know, the first time I saw my dress - I was like 'ugh' too much bling - it's going to cut me in half wrong - I am NOT trying that on.

I was trying on several similar dresses that I really liked, I had found a number of dresses that looked great on me - I found a certain style groove.

Then my mother went back to that dress, of all dresses, and asked me to please try it on for her.

So I did...

For once I felt comfortable in a dress. I liked it, and I wanted to twirl and dance in it. So I did a quick twirl to call it mine :).

Mine was the first one I tried on, but at the time I didn't think so. My mom loved it, but I wasn't sure. I tried on a few more dresses while that dress hung to the side. After about 4, I found that I kept glancing at that dress, and once I put it on the second time, I just knew. I felt so comfortable and beautiful, and it just felt effortless.

Totally! It was the 4th dress I put on...
I kept going back to it and comparing everything else to it. My bridal consultant had to basically chase me around the salon to take it off

I went to five different salons. My family thought I was nuts. I was pretty much in tears saying, 'I'm not going to find a dress. Maybe I just won't get that feeling.' At the beginning I was trying on all different styles to see what I exactly wanted. Maybe trying on so many gowns led to frustration. Finally, I decided I wanted a satin fit and flare with glitz and a detailed back. I went to Charisol Bridal and my mother pulled a dress off the rack. When I looked at on the hanger I thought it was pretty but didn't get that feeling however, once I put the dress on and saw myself in the mirror I did.

Your dress is out there and you will get that feeling.
