Did you live, get married in Queens then RH in LI used LI Florist

I'm not sure if we should use 2 different florist or a local one to our house.

We live and are getting married in Queens (will need Bo-k's, bouts and church flowers in Queens) then CP in LI.

Does it make sense to use a florist in LI who will have to come to Queens first then back to LI..I'm afraid I won't get my flowers on time

Did anyone else use 2 different places or a local place.

Any sugguestions would be great.

im using 1 florist, they are on LI and they are coming to queens... its like a half hour ride so im not really concerned about it

Most florists wont have a problem traveling. Just make sure they don't want to charge u for it. We are booked with Pedestals in LI and they are setting up our church in queens as well as the hall in LI

We live in Suffolk and got married in manhattan. We used a florist close to home so we can pick up the bo-ks and boutonnieres in the morning for photos. The florist delivered the centerpeices for the ceremony and reception.

I'm using one florist - Pedestals
(i'm sure they have enough delivery trucks to get everything to both venues on time)

our church is in Richmond Hill - Queens & our RH is out in Syosset

They were awesome and even early!!

Our church is in Ozone Park, RH is Westbury Manor and we're using Flowers by Brian in Howard Beach. They had no problems going to the church then RH that day. I don't think it's an uncommon thing.

I am using one Florist, They will come to my house then the church, but I am having candles on my tables- from the RH then rose petals from the florist I think I am just going to havethe Florist leave the petals with me that morning and when I get to the RH Im sure someone their will sprinkle them on the tables or 2 of girls can to it ( only 12 tables) it is silly for me to have them drive 45 min for rose petals, if I was having centerpiece then they would drive and display them I would only use one I suggest using the florist closer to you because they will go to u first before the Rh, most likly right after they drop off your flowers they set up your room and you will get a better deal with using one florist otherwise you will have to deal with an extra vendor and less people to tip!

I am getting married in lower Westchester (20 min from Queens) and reception at Westbury Manor. I am using two different florists. A couple of florists I talked to in Queens were willing to do both..but I got nervous that they would get lost in Westchester, so I used a local florist in Westchester for my flowers and my girls. Since my FH is getting ready at his parents in LI, all boutineers and FMIL corsage are being made by Burton's along with all my flowers for RH.

Pain the the neck to do two seperate florists...but I just felt less nervous doing it that way.

I used Designs by Rose in Howard Beach. I had everything dropped off on LI...but it wouldn't be an issue for any florist to drop stuff in 2 different places. HTH!
