yep, we did. We sent several to europe and a couple more to a few of FH's estranged relatives

Yes, this way they have the option to come just in case anything changes. Otherwise it looks like you decided not to invite them.

yes we did, esp my grandma's friend in FL. We know they are not coming but we send it to her anyway...and of course 8 out of 10 will send you a check

yep...most of my family can't come (aunts, cousins, grandma, etc.) but I'm sending invitations anyway.

We're nowhere near sending invites out yet, but when we do, we will be sending to family/friends who we know can't make it just out of respect...
