Did you make your invitations?

I am seriously thinking about making my invitations and having a friend who is a printer print them up for me.

Have any of you made your invites? If so, can you post a pic? Was it stressful? Did it cost more in the end run? Would you recommend it? Yada, yada. Thanks

I plan on designing my own invites and hopefully have them printed at work, I work at an ad agency. I'm a graphic designer, it wasn't stressful for me, but that might be because i do it for a living.
