Did you or do you plan on purchasing your readers a gift?
I was thinking of purchasing our readers a gift but when I mentioned it to my mom she said she never got a gift as a reader and never heard of it either.
I was just wondering what you girls are doing or have done. If you brought them something, what was it? I need ideas if I decide to do this.

I did because they have to go to the rehearsal and they are giving up their time for us.
I bought one a wallet and a Barnes and Noble gift card. i thought it ws a good 'reader' gift--lol
My other reader is a BM so I didn't get her anything.

I bought them a small silver photo album w/clovers & swarowski crystals from things remembered, got it on clearance for $10....just a small token and of course, they are also invited to the rehearsal dinner.

I guess I should buy them something b/c I am having my Godmother and Godfather share a reading and then FH's aunt who is also his Godmother is doing a reading.
I also invited them to the rehearsal as well.
Do you think I should get my Godparents something more that they both can use? Such as a gift certificate to Applebee's or something for like $20?
FH's aunt lives in MA so I can get her a nice bookmark or a gift card to Border's.

i got a key chain from things remembered for being a reader.. i liked the gift so i stole the idea and picked up a fun one from whitehouse black market.. had a summer beach theme to it which went our theme.. and the girl loved it!

I just did a reading in a friend's wedding a she bought me a picture frame that said 'friends' on it and put a picture of the 2 of us in it....I thought it was very sweet

Both of the readers we chose are wine drinkers. I was going to get them each a set of hand painted wine glasses.

Shoot! I didn't even think of that!!! We are only having one reader and it's my uncle so I should def get him something nice... good call... thanks for the heads up!

I did not. To be honest, I asked them at the last minute. They didn't even come to the rehearsal

I am definitely getting a gift for my readers. I feel as though they are a very important part of our ceremony. HTH!
