did you or will you

have a little way to celebrate your 1 yr mark?

I made sure I would be opening shift at work so I could have a nice dinner and do something special with FH on our one yr mark.

FMIL is celebrating in an even bigger way...she's celebrating our one yr mark by GOING TO ENGLAND!!!

nah we didn't - we'll celebrate the 1 yr engagement too seeing as it's the same day as both of our birthdays

We did celebrate our 1 year dating - I don't remember what we did though.

And, at our 1 year engagement, we'll already be married!! lol

We won't have a one year mark we are getting married before then. I'm a little jealous that we don't get to celebrate! If we could I'd go all out!

we went to a wedding showcase at our venue on our one year mark. it was really nice.

We didn't actually pick our date until after what our year mark would have been. We got engaged on 3/1, our date is 3/15 but i don't think we picked it until April maybe..... I'd like to maybe just have a nice dinner a month before. I think it would be sweet.

We went out to dinner with my friend and her sorta boyfriend. She wrote me a card that said the following:

Dear FH and FW,

Happy -1 Anniversary.

We didn't do anything. I think we barely noticed it passed...my FH is the luckiest man in the world IM the one who always forgets our anniversaries...LOL...

but for our year of being engaged i'm going to recreate the proposal and surprise him with a room at the Hudson Hotel where he popped the question!

Our e-party was the day after our 'negative 1 year wedding anniv.' He was supposed to fly into NY the night before (our true neg 1 year) but his flight was cancelled and lots of airport drama led to him getting in at 4am the next day.

It's funny now that we have so many 'anniversaries' to 'celebrate'

- our dating anniv (+ monthlies, which we acknowledge even though it's been 5+ years )

- our neg monthly annivs till the wedding

- our engagement annivs (wed will be 6 months )

We don't really do anything but say 'happy ____' for them except for the biggies.

our one year was last night...we hung out, but didn't do anything special. i wanted to, but he said we will have the rest of our lives to celebrate this day. i did look at my watch everyonce in awhile and say next year and this time we'll be doing this...and next year at this time we'll be doing that...etc

We have an appointment with Flower Michelle on our 1 year so we will be going there and then probably get some dinner (but we would need to eat anyway!)

Our 1 year engagement is on 4th of July so we will always have fire works on that day hahahaha!
