Did you order all bm dresses at once?

How do you do that if you can't get them all there at the same time?

The bridal salon will NOT order the gowns until they have ALL of the BMs measurements. It took me two times to get them all their. One day I went with a few BMs and I took the remaining a few weeks later. All of the dresses were ordered together.

What Octbride said is correct. My MOH and one of my BMs have given the bridal salon their measurements and a deposit. My other two BMs are going to go in Sept.

the order was placed once all had been measured, but I had to go a few different times with each girls. Coming up with one day that was good for everyone was impossible

usually they don't do this because the gowns should come from the same dye lot, otherwise the dresses might be different shades of whatever color they're supposed to be.

Where I got my BM gowns they wouldn't order them until they were all sized. It took a few weeks to finally get everyone measured. Then we broke up! Now I'm engaged again(to someone else) and I had to order 2 more. Except that they are a 2001 design. But they did it! They are ordered. 2 years later!

Just give your BM's a deadline as to when they have to get measured. The salon will always order them all at once, after they have ALL measurements.

Yup, I was told that if I didn't order them all at once they could come from a different dye lot, meaning that they could all be a slightly different color!

I did not bring all my girls at once. I am letting each girl choose their own style of dress from a particular designer, so I purposely took them each individually so they would not fight with each other about who gets to wear what (BTW: they cannot duplicate dresses). I just go when I can with each girl..... the bridal shop is so sick of me already

They wouldn't order them until all of the girls had gotten measured. I just gave the girls a deadline. It worked out fine. I'm going to see the dresses tomorrow at my first fitting!

i'm going through this right now. 4 of my BM's got measured, no problem. the other two are out-of-town and have been dragging their feet. the salon won't order them until they have everyone's measurements, otherwise there is a good chance the dye lots won't match 100%

It was hard to coordinate 8 girls but we went on a Saturday afternoon and aordered them all at once. Good Lcuk!!!!

I have 12 girls, and I thought they were crazy when they told me that they won't order the dresses until all the girls have been measured. So, I set a deadline. I went with two groups of girls, and then the stragglers went later. Of course my sister MOH was the last one, so she made sure that she told them she was the last one, and they must order them now. But of course I followed up with a phone call. My out of towner, got measured somewhere else, then I went in and placed the order for her.

its something with the dye lot - so they get all the girls measurements at once!
