Did you purchase cancellation insurance for your HM?

Did you purchase cancellation insurance for your HM?

If so, what did it cover and how much did you pay?

I got an insurance quote for $228 per person. I didn't realize it would be THAT much. Booking for July 06, I am fairly certain we will not have to cancel, but I am just thinking of a situation like a death on the family or serious illness... Any advice?

Yes we did...but that price is OUTRAGEOUS! Go to TravelGuard it's the same insurance we bought from our TA (we paid $98 each) but a little cheaper since you're buying direct. And it covers mostly everything, even cancellation the day of!

yes. I think we paid $200 total. it's the kind that you can cancel for any reason.

Rebecca - the link I posted is the same company/insurance Beach Bum sells but I found out about it after I paid for my HM...good luck!

yes we also purchased it.... it was $98pp, not sure even who its through, my TA took care of it all.

We had insurance but the quote you got is high! Are you still having problems finding a good agent, Rebecca?

Thank you!!!! Travel Guard looks good, and should be about $160 for the both of us. A LIF poster who is a travel agent recommended them too.

I have been emailing a couple of travel agents back and forth, a couple of whom you guys suggested. As promised, they have been nothing but professional and kind! I'll post when I make a deposit- I am kind of afraid to jinx it.
