so we registered for the cuisinart 14 cup food processor, and the tiny little countertop sized one (and got them both as engagement gifts) and haven't used either one!
We also have a blender, which FH uses for making smoothes, but I don't really know what to use the food processors for! I think it's silly to have both (or even one) if I don't use them so I want to start using them!
What do you use yours for? Do you like it? How often do you use it?

Re: Did you register for a food processor?
I have a small one and I've registered for a big one. The small one I use all the time for making things like pesto, or other herb mixes to use in different recipes. The big one I plan to use for sauces and soups. I'm really into cooking and I've wanted one for a long time.
Try this turkey burger recipe and put all the spices and garlic into the little food processor to get it nice and fine:

My FSIL uses her cuisinart for all sorts of things.. She makes a great pie crust in just a few pulses for pies, quiches - even adds in some herbs to make savory ones. Check out foodnetwork.com or cooks.com for more recipes.

Re: Did you register for a food processor?
I registered for a food processor and blender in 1...I think it's a cuisenart model, it's a bit more expensive, but it saves you from having 2 machines (you only have 2 glass thingies that fit into the same motorized base)
I also registered for a small food processor, but they're not very expensive (~$20-$30), so I may end up taking that off the registry for now and putting it back on closer to the wedding date so i can get it for 10% off if it's not bought
