it was like one month after dating and we saw each other 2x a week...but my face was like I hadn't even thought about it!

Actually he asked me at about 1:30 in the morning on January 9 1997. The only reason he actually asked was because an ex of mine said to me: We never really were going out, I never asked you. So I could have slept all over and it wouldn't matter cause I never really said will you go out with me. Well, DH thought that was ridiculous, so in jest he said will you go out with me.

my fiance actually asked 2 times.. and i said 'no not yet'... july1st in the car im like ' so when i come to fourth of july and meet your family ill be annouced as your girlfriend right?'... later on i find out he was close to giving up, thinking i didnt want him...

He never asked either...it just sort of happened too...I guess it was pretty much assumed.

It just happened for us too. About a month and a half after we started dating, I heard him on the phone saying that he was hanging out with his 'girlfriend'. That is when I found out for myself. There was never any formality to it.

same here....just happened. He came to my block party and I overheard him on the phone with his friend saying he 'was at his girlfriend's party'!!

Actually I told him to go **** himself!

He lived in PA and I would go to his house on the weekends. This was a big step for me cause my mom was always so strict about things like that. So I would go and stay Friday and Saturday night and come home Sunday and I loved it. I kinda thought we were dating exclusevly but I never said anything. Then one day like after 3 weekends spending at his house ihsneighbor came to borrow something. I was sitting there and he was like oh this is my FRIEND Noreen..I almost died.

I didnt know if I should kill him or cry?!! When the neighbor left I addressed it and he was like well I dont know what to call you...and he then proceeded to say I Want you to be my gf...would you and stubborn ass irish me was like...HELLS NO!

I changed my mind about an hour later but it was funny.
