Did you send any thank you gift to your lawyer?

Our lawyer was just wonderful and even though we've put our last pennies towards buying our place, I was wondering if it's the thing to do? If so, did you send anything more than a 'thank you'? small gift????
just curious...

No, I didn't send him anything. If he did a great job, send him a bottle of wine of a gift certificate to a restaraunt.

our lawyer was amazing also we gave him a small gift.

No way cause I didn't like him and he was never available to answer any 's I had.

Our lawyer is my BIL, we got married last month and he gave no card nor gift, and that is what he'll be getting as well, OH, I will say THANK YOU ----of course.

we did but only because our lawyer is one of the lawyers in my mom's office and didnt charge us for the closing.

we got our lawyer a gift certificate for dinner becuase he was great and he's a friend of the family
