I think that I'm late with this, but all those attending the RD already know where & when. Should I send out invitations for it? If so, where can I get a batch from?

We aren't. Only word of mouth for us. But I am making up some direction cards for my Family, who are all OOTs.

I made them myself. Our RD is the Thursday before the wedding (the same wedding date as you ) and I am mailing them on Friday.

Wow, if you haven't sent them out yet, then that means I still have time, Ms. Organized. Our RD is the night before (Fri), and I hope to mail them out real soon, if we don't do word of mouth.
Where did you get the paper from? And is there wording ettiquette (or template) for RDs?

We just ordered them last week and will send them out the week after Labor Day. We found them at Papyrus.

I am making them on the computer and I will be sending them out Oct 1st. I'm sending them for the Future in Laws because they're hosting it.
If you feel that everyone knows where to be and what time then you don't have to. It's really just a reminder for them, if you've been reminding them then I wouldn't worry about it. JMO

We did. I found blank invites at Papyrus & printed the info from the computer & added directions.

I ordered mine from Vistaprint.com. Invitations are not necessary... but now I won't have to repeat over and over where and when it is

Thanks nylisa. That's definitely helps, and is a great start in what to write on the invitations. I'll probably keep everything but the quote on top (I'll have to search for what to add), and the details, of course...

Hmmmm... that's very tempting. Maybe I'll jump on that. I'll get back to you about it before the weekend. One question: The front cover, is that blank, too (where you printed that on it), or does it come like that?

We did but they weren't anything fancy. We got them at Party City and just filled in the information. We had quite a few people in the arae that weren't familiar with the directions of the location so we included the directions along with the address. If we had told them verbally, they wouldn't have remembered(that wa sonly on fh's side though)

That is exactly what I thought! I don't want to have to keep telling the bridal party (especially the guys) over and over, hoping they write it down. So I just did it to make it easier for myself.

We sent out invitations. We had them made by a theatre ticket company. We just wanted to do something fun and different. I think it cost us around $60. They were not necessary, but they were a hit.

Yes we sent out invitations. My FMIL took care of it since they are hosting the party. But- she's also inviting all OOT hotel guests.
