Did your Bridal Party RSVP?

Did your Bridal Party RSVP?

I still have a month to go but noone in the bridal party has RSVP'ed.. I figured they would be the first because they obviously know they are coming..but I have a feeling they are not going to RSVP.. especially my BM's... they don't even call me back when I call them..

Just wondering what everyone else BP did?

Well, I didn't send out my invites yet, but I can tell you when I was in my first BP (also the first wedding I ever went to) I did not send back the RSVP until the bride pretty much ordered me to. I figured, she knew I was coming, why did I need to RSVP?

Of course, being a bride now, I know how horrible this was of me! Why didn't I just send it back right away? It was stamped, for goodness' sake! Oh, the perspective ...

yea but 3 our my sisters and they live down the block and around the corner lol..

No, they haven't! But for me it's not so much them RSVPing for themselves but if they're bringing their significant others or not. That's what I really need to know.

Most of mine did but not all. . . including DH's groomsman who later BAILED (jacka*** that he is GRRR) but one of my BM forgot and MOH rsvpd WAY after the deadline. . I think they think well you KNOW i'm coming why do you need the card. .

they all said 'oh yeah you know we're coming'

to which I replied 'Yes but the Chef doesn't so.....NO CARD, NO DINNER'

they all mailed them.

(rsvps were my bridezilla era)

I told them all that they HAD to respond. I'm extremely anal like that and no one was going to get away with the verbal RSVP.

My BP didnt RSVP to my bridal shower either...their responses were you know I am coming. I am not going to make it a big deal but I said to just give it to me when they see me.

I don't really expect them to RSVP. It's understood.

Sometimes going to the mail box is too much. Hahaha!

Only one left from the bridal party who did not RSVP yet (mind you our rsvp date is the 25, and that was after i hounded down the rest) is my FH's brother and his son who is the ring bearer!!

My side understands and did what they were supposed to. They checked off that they are coming and put the envelope that already has a stamp on it in the mailbox.

FH made his friend fill out the card when they were hanging out one night and FH was the one to mail it.

FH's brother... nope... not yet and the rsvp was last weekend. I emailed fsil because I am still waiting for them to tell me if one or both boys are ring bearers... yeah, did I mention the wedding is under 4 weeks away?

Most of the girls have. None of the guys have.
My cousin was just telling me a story on Saturday that she found out one of the groomsmen wasn't going to be in her wedding when he RSVPed no, saying he was going on vacation.

I had one of my bridesmaids that never responded and two groomsmen that didn't either. obv they were there but it was very annoying not to get the rsvp.
