My brother is SO different than my FH, but they have SOME relationship, though at times a bit strained (my brother can be very imature). My FH thought he e-mailed him to invite him to his BP, but really didn't. He was then 'confused' why my brother never responded, and even more confused why my brother decided to go last minute. I am picking up vibes that my FH does NOT want my brother there - why? I don't know. Does he feel uncomfortable with him there when he has STRIPPERS? Perhaps. I don't know. Would this make sense? Did your brothers go on your FH's Bp? thanks!

my brother went. Honestly, neither one wanted to be there... FH didn't want him there only because he felt he would be uncomfortable not knowing any of his friends. My brother didn't want to go for that reason, but went because he felt he had to.
It turned out fine. They both had a good time, and both 'looked good' infront of each other

May05Bride - GREAT advice. They are both nice people, but I truly feel that both DON'T want to be there. If my brother goes - i'm sure he'll have a good time and that's that - if he doesn't no big deal. It is the first time that i've seen my FH act less than stellar in terms of being good to my family - he usually overextends himself and here is 'thought' he e-mailed him but I'm pretty sure he purposefully didn't......wierd.

Edited.......because I did not read properly, and answered an entirely different question. Sorry. My brother did not go to FH's BP. He said he didn't want to go into the city. Whatever. We're not going a grudge about it.

My brother is planning it- but no strippers- not even a traditional BP- they are just going to the racetrack for the day. But they are also really close and have a great relationship.

Yes he was. My brother and DH are very close.
If my DH had a bacholor party with strippers and stuff then my brother would not have gone. He is only 16. We had a joint party that was dinner and a comedy club so it wasn't a problem.

BLU-IZE - SAME here. my DH is a 'suit' through and through (works on wall street, long hours, LOVES what he does) my brother just graduated from college, still figures out innovative ways to smoke w**d, and couldn't be less interested in getting a job right now....hmmm.

my brother didnt go to DHs b/c hes only 14 and they had strippers. my sister also wasnt at mine b/c shes only 16 and we had a stripper. it was an age thing in both cases
