Did your FH/DH let you...

Pick out his tux or did he pick out his own? All my married friends have been able to pick - or at least help pick out their DH's tux for the wedding day. Mine says no! This stresses me only because I'm a total control freak...and I'm afraid he's going to go for that casual, relaxed white jacket black pants, no tie, yacht look and we won't look right! Am I just being silly or does he need my input?

Mine wanted me to go with him but he picked it.

My hubby let me go shopping with him. (He knew I cared a heck of a lot more than he did!) That being said, I know he has conservative taste, so if he had wanted to go on his own that would have been fine by me. Do you like his taste in clothing generally? If not, he may need your input!

Mine said no to, but he showed me the one he wants, he just wanted to be able to pivk it out himself.

mine wants nothing to do with picking out his tux - he just doesn't want anything too funky looking or a morning coat, which is fine since we're getting married in the evening

at first my FH said that i could not help him or have a say!! (yeah right...)
but then when we went to the tux shop..we both agreed on a really nice tux (he has a good sense of style anyway) & he asked for my opinion too!! men are funny that way...

but we're still debating the tie & vest color...he wants to wear Platinum...i want him to wear WHITE! we'll see what happens..either way he will look handsome!!

He went with his best man (his sister!) and picked out his tux. He did a good job, and I wasn't worried at all.

another thing.. the people at the tuxedo place usually ask the groom what the bride is wearing also.. so that they can coordinate and make suggestions on what to wear. mine did

I love my FH's sense of style...I know he'll look good no matter what he wears but he's messing with my 'vision.' Maybe he'll take our best woman with him, but sometimes I worry about her judgment too...

see, now THERE'S my anal retentiveness showing itself again...

I went with him but he picked it out. I am sure he will pick something appropriate. My DH kept joking around that he was going to get a stars and stripe vest. It lost its omph when I kept saying that would be fine. And he wore a white one

I have some input into his, he asked my opinion-just as I asked his opinion about dresses. But, it's HIS wedding day too, and he has to wear it-so no, I'm not picking his tux.

I wanted DH to do it without me! But he wanted me there. He basically picked it all out himself and them just needed me to shake my head yes and agree. He did a fine job!!

In my opinion, he is wearing it so he has to like it. I only requested it didn't clash with the BM and he wear an ivory shirt to match me! He had no problem with either.

My FH is completely untrustworthy in this area (see my 'Dont think I'm weird' post) and I MUST be there to pick it out or he'll come back with some bizarro lavender/platinum tux (the vest I mean) and our colors are ivory and sage. I explained to him that when BM dresses are ivory and sage, the only appropriate colors for tux (and assorted acoutrements) were black, white and platinum or gray. He seems to think he can choose 'whatever color' he wants. It has been explained to him that this not the case.

This isn't the last you guys will hear of this one, trust me.
