I am completely involved. Although she planned the shower without a peep from me. My MOH is a stay at home, she needs my help - neither of us goes out! LOL

My MOH/sister planned my shower, but I am planning the bachlorette party. Although I love surprises, I hated not knowing what was going on

My MOH and bridesmaids are planning it all. I promised to be surprised (although I do know the date)

Completely involved. Half of my BP is OOT so it makes it more difficult and she works crazy hours and stuff...

I gave my maid of honor some ideas of what I would like to do but ultimately I will be surprised as to what they pick

When my MOH was going to start planning it she asked me if there was anything specific I wanted to do. I told her what I wanted and she thought it was a good idea to. So thats what we did.

She started out planning it alone, but we had a little disagreement about the guest list, so from that point on we talked about everything. I suggested the place to go to dinner (dip...yum) and said I wanted to go to a karaoke place. She did a little research and found a fabulous karaoke place where you could rent a private room. We had a blast. I think it was much better to have been in on it at the conceptual level. A surprise party is great if it's a complete surprise-- yu have no clue it's coming-- but with a bachelorette party, you know it's going to happen, and different people have very different ideas about what kinds of things are fun/appropriate. I vote that you should at very least give your MOH a framework-- tell her if you want a wild night or a quiet night or a spa day or whatever. just give her some guidance...

my moh and bms are involved with planning the bridal shower, but i'm going to plan the bachelorette party b/c i'm not into stripper parties and i've grown out of clubbing...

Like my shower, I know nothing about it but the date. They did tell me part of the weekend we are going to a local spa since I had to pick my treatments!- WHOO-HOO

I am helping my MOH although she really doesnt need it. I just gave her a list and she fills me in. I have enough to worry about.Shes GREAT

I had total control. My girls are way too busy- most have 2+ kids under 4 so I planned it. They helped with suggestions and made final phone calls but I pretty much told them who and what. We had such a good time being silly!!! Had dinner catered at my house, 18 pass escalade picked us up for 8 of us, went to hunkomania more girls met us there from work- what a blast and then went to a club in the city club Quo- then back to island hit the diner. we had the best time bieng silly in the limo.

I chose the location and I'm even helping to pay for it (since it's out of state for my girls)...That is how I wanted it though.

My MOH is planning all of the details though.
