Did your mom have Xrays done or Ultrasound...
A good friend of mine while she was pregnant had to have Xrays done because her baby was cutting off her kidney and she had to have a stint put in and then they had to update the stint as her pregnancy continued. As part of the procedure they did an Xray which she was very upset about because the tech said it needed to be done and but that it could affect her baby's eggs. She knew at that point that she was having a girl. My friend was devasted that at 24 weeks she might have given her daughter fertility problems and I think it will forever be a monkey on her back until her baby girl has it's own baby girl.
Now while she was telling me this all I could think of was how back in 1974 when my mother was pregnant with my now 30 year old older brother she had to have an xray done at 30something weeks he was a large baby and they didn't have sono's. Luckily through the use of the Xray they found out my Mom had a bone covering her public bone and that if she delievered him naturally would have been horrific so needless to say I am very lucky she had to have one because my brother was born and I was born a few years later both via Csection.
To make a long story short I was wondering if these Xrays could have affected why so many women these days seem to be having problems with their fertility who are 30+, I know that as we all age it is harder but that still seems young to me.
My thought process might be totally off, but I have so many friends who are affected by this.
