My shepred mix was spayed when we adopted her from NSAL. Maybe they or another shelter can recommend someone.

Zoe was also spayed when we got her at nsal also. maybe you can check with them.

When I got my cat neutered I bought a certificate through Friends of Animals for $40 (I think). I brought him to the Wantagh Animal Hospital (I think thats what it was). They took the certificate and nothing else. I would look into it, they have a website.

Bring her to my vet. East Meadow Animal Hospital. It was around $100. A few people go there from here.

Island Rescue in Bay Shore does spaying/neutering. I don't know what they would charge for a dog, but we've had our cats done for $50 each (includes rabies shot).

I just had my cat spayed through Friends of Animals. Here's the website link Friends of Animals
They will provide you a list of vets in your area that participate in the low cost spay/neuter program. You purchase the certificate from them - mine was $55 for a cat. Then call the vet and tell them you have a FoA certificate and everything is included in that $55 you paid to FoA.
Maybe your vet participates? You should definitely check it out. My vet wanted around $170 to spay her. This was a huge savings!

Try www.muffins.org. It is a non-profit organization that I used to neuter my cat and it was about $35.00.
