Did you/would you visit...

your wedding dress?

Mine has been in for about 1 1/2 months.. and my first fitting is mid Sept..

My friend asked if I went to see it.. I was like.. why??

her response: 'Um, in case its the wrong one... or cause you want to... cause you're excited about it??'...

I wouldn't have even thought it would be 'wrong'.. (just figured the shop would order the right one and check it on delivery).

Should I?
Would you?

yes i definitely visited my dress to make sure it was the right one... and to make sure it still fit!

i didn't, but my dress only came in about a week before my first fitting.

you don't need to see it .... it's up to you

I stalked my dress out in another bridal store that had it on LI. I had to get a better picture of the lace.

This was before my dress came in lol

My dress came in months early. I didn't bother going to visit it. I was very excited to get back into it, but driving an hour out to Patchogue just to hop in the dress for a few minutes? No thanks.

i did visit it but i wasn't sure why i needed to. i'm glad i did bc it's the right dress and it basically fits so that's a relief.

i definitely did! it wasnt even so much that i thought itd be wrong but it was like christmas for me lol

When my salon called to tell me my dress came in, she asked me to come in to see it and make sure it was the right one and everything. They opened the box right in front of me. I tried it on, the zipper didn't go up all the way because she didn't order the usual 2 or 3 dress sized too big for me. I'm in the process of losing weight so in September it should hopefully fit great.

My mom has the dress in her house, and everytime I am there, I visit my dress. FH always wonders why I spend so much time when I go upstairs, but I don't tell him I'm visiting my dress because I don't want him to see her.

Can I just say, I love that your dress has a gender.
