Did/Are you having a DOC? help...thanks

If you had or are having a DOC can you tell me what they do exactly? How much approx. does a DOC cost?

Im thinking about the various vendors and little things and maybe a DOC would be good...any insight would help..TIA

I hired Cristine from Exquiste Affairs Productins.

She has been WONDERFUL so far. She did a 5 page detailed timeline for the day. She verified all my vendors and took care of any questions I had. She will be at my house at 1pm while I finish getting ready, then she will go to my church and then to the beach for pics and she will leave after our intros into the reception.

I think they are TOTALLY worth the money and I have the peace of mind that I will not have to deAL WITH 1 PROBLEM OR QUESTION MY ENTIRE DAY

I had a DOC, i used francesca from dazzling affairs

she was incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond for me that day....there was no way i could of had my wedding go smoothly without her. She helped everyone in some sort of way, she fixed my moms dress, and fixed my BM's dresses, she held all the tip envelopes for us, and was just on top of every vendor the entire day.
She was my savior, and im glad i had her cause i didnt have to bother anyone else the entire time.

Definately worth the money, she is very fast to respond to emails, and phone calls, and we had several meetings with her, she also made my programs, petal cones and menus as well

YES!! What hasn't mine done?? Even though she is a DOC I booked her last summer and we have been working on stuff since last year....she is taking care of my invites and I called her like 4 times today like a stalker bride and she is so patient and wonderful....

Her name is Gina Griffin from Bleu Diamond Events (she is a liw vendor)....her prices range based on her packages and the services you need. She knows a ton of people in the business and has helped me get great deals with my vendors....she is also coordinating the rehersal and keeping me sane the day of :) I def. recommend her

I'm using Christine too.. i love her! she alleviates a lot of my stress

I am using Ryan from Above and Beyond and I gotta tell you she kicked my butt back into wedding mode!!!!
She'll be with me all day on my wedding day and I can't be more thankful.
Her emails alone make me less stressfull!!!!!!!!

I am using Tara G of EAP!! she works with Christine and is amazing! I love bouncing ideas off of her and she is on top of any questions i may have!

Nope - I think it really depends on how much you have going on and who you have to depend on for things to get done.

I am using Hollie from EAP. She has been great so far. Any time I had a question I would e-mail her and she would gt back to me right away. She has been great!! And I know she will make sure my day goe sby smoothly without any problems. I actually meet withher tonight!!! I am so excited!!!

I did not have one. I felt like the hall handled a lot of the things a DOC would have done.

My sister had one for her wedding and couldnt have gotten along without her. She also got married in a tent outside and had an outside caterer. She didn't have a bridal attendant or matre'D. So in her case it was neccessary. I think if you have a lot of details such as hanging things and intricate decor and decorative things the hall will not assist you with, then it is neccessary to hire someone. Otherwise I think you can save your money.
