Ever since I joined WW my grocery bill has gone UP like $50-$75 a week. Doesnt that seem odd... being on a diet shouldnt my bill go down?

I think produce is more expensive in the winter. Also, if you are buying leaner meats and specialty items, they are more expensive.

Ugh, its annoying!!! And of course DH is on Atkins which means we need more meat and cheese which is $$$$

I've always said that its far more expensive to eat 'healthy' than eat bad...
It really should be the other way around though!
DH and I (when we are good about dieting) do completely different plans.. I just cut my calories , do lots of Lean Cuisines and salads, frozen weight watcher snacks for treats, etc. DH will do Atkins, which entails different products entirely
And yes, there definitely is a significant increase in our food shopping bills when we are both being 'good' .. !!
It's not excuse for us to eat bad, but it is frustrating!!

I hear ya, especially if you are buying a lot of WW meals or lean cuisines. They are $$!
BUT..the way i look at it is that I'd rather spend a little more at the grocery store and less on bad food during the day or at fast food places...and if you're healthier in the long run, that'll save mucho $$ on medical problems that could occur . Just one way of looking at it!
