Ok so as I said, i order my dress and there is this muslin thingy that POB makes to save $$ on future alterations...
Bottom line*** I need to be in ideal bride weight by October...ahhhhh

Im good at losing weight with fads and stuff.. atkins is like my two week before an event trick, however, actual weight loss programs are not my strong suit... until now (well starting tomorrow lol)

Re: Diet suggestions!!

I dont suggest any of those...i did weight watchers for a while...it worked for me but it didnt teach me about eating balanced, healthy meals.. I didnt eat protein, i lived on popcorn and was eating all these 'fake' processed foods..yucky

here is my suggestion...

I eat 5-6 small meals a day. Each meal has a protein, green veggie and a healthy fat...2 of my 6 meals have a 'good' carb (brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potato, whole wheat bread...) I try to eat every 3 hours or so.

I do 4 sessions of weight training a week (2 upper body, 2 lower body) and 4 sessions of High intensity cardio training a week...sometimes I will wlak on the treadmill as an extra thing too.

let me know if you have any questions!

I think weight watchers was awesome for me. I am going back to it starting tomorrow - right after kabasi (sp) soup for easter brunch! I lost thirty pounds on it once, and then maintained it for a while. Then when I quit smoking for the second time I gain lots of weight back, so here I am again. If you are worried about balancing and eating the right foods, look into their core plan instead of their points plan.

core was definitely better than points...i did them both...the only thing that i dont like about core and weight watchers in general is they make it very difficult ot eat healthy fats and your body needs these. I also found that I pigged out on core because you can 'eat until satisfied' ...for me, I couldnt stop myself.

I would suggest WW since thats what I did and lost 20 lbs. You dont have to eat 'processed' food like the others have said. WW has changed over the years and they say you have to eat your 5 veggies/fruits, 2 dairy, 1 healthy fat, and 6 glasses of water each day.

My WW leader taught us how to get good fats in our diet w/o using our points. If you get a good leader, then you will be fine. To me, its an easier plan to follow bc its easy to follow for the rest of your life. I lost the weight 3 years ago and kept most of it off. I only have 3 more lbs to go to my original goal weight. I plan on sticking to the plan hardcore to loose another 10 lbs for the wedding.

A friend of mine did Jenny Craig but the thing is once she stopped buying their food, she gained weight.
