Diets...

Ouch! I am at a standpoint.... I have been on weight waTCHERS for 5 months and have been very successful, and have lost 23 pounds, but the past 2 weeks nothing except, I flucuate between 2 pounds on and off, I have been drinking water like mad, and have been watching my points. No luck. Has anyone ever had this, and also what did they do? It has been way too hot to start exercising a lot. Help!!! I feel so yucky!

Re: Diets...

My GYN actually gave me the suggestion to cut carbs way down for just a week...she says its perfectly healthy as long as you don't go crazy with bacon and such...

also look at your journals and see if you are eating oo much of one type of food...like sugars...I would be within my points, but have all sugars or carbs for the day...

and always remember the scale is not the end-all teller that you are losing...one week you will come in and you will lose 4 pounds...sometimes it builds up from PMS or retaining water

good luck...

Re: Diets...

I think it that just happens and it's part of the weight loss journey. That happened to me last summer at WW and I was going crazy. I tried everything and after a while it worked it self out.

Like Yabbobay said, look in your journals and see if there's anything you can change. Are you counting everything? Are you eating all your points? Too few points will slow down weightloss.

Good luck!

Re: Diets...

Speaking of diets...UGH....I ordered my dress in January and went on a diet and did a work out crazed routine and lost inches and maybe 5 pounds. I definitely went down a size. Well today, I went in and tried my dress on and it JUST fits. The arms were SO tight. I am a little upset, I know they can let them out but man, what if I didn't lose weight???? I guess this made my incentive before my first fitting on 9/5 even higher!!!

I may need to duct tape my mouth closed!!!

Re: Diets...

right now you are maintaining -which is great--everyone's body fluctuates 1-2 pounds a day...always weigh yourself at the same time of day---morning is probably the best time to weigh yourself
