Re: Diets
I try not to limit myself. I have been very cautous of what I eat, but if I get a bad craving for something, and just won't pass, then I'll go ahead and have a very small serving of it, but only once per week. I'm still losing weight, but not making myself suffer and be miserable.

I so can relate! I'm down 20lbs on Jenny Craig in 6 weeks but I am totally craving bad things. I'm going to be strong though

Re: Diets
Well, thank GOD there are 1-point chocolate puddings from Jell-O. They are perfect for my chocolate cravings every night.
I am actually doing well on Weight Watchers. In 4 weeks I have lost 12 lbs. The trick is not denying yourself something you crave. But only having a small portion of it.
So, and I know it seems like a waste, get a piece of cheesecake and then tell the waitress or server to cut it in 1/2 and throw the rest away. Indulge and enjoy! There is nothing wrong with giving in to cravings as long as you do it in small quantites.

Re: Diets
I can't diet for anything!! I don't get it I have no self control. I eat what I want but when I diet it's usually to cut out junk food. I work out everday so I guess that helps.

Re: Diets
Well I do try to think of it as a life change as opposed to a diet - b/c diet kind of implies it has an end - and also if you 'cheat' you have failed. It is really about making choices that you can live with long term - even if the goal is to lose weight for your wedding - if it's 11 months away and you think you should never cheat before then - you are putting WAY to much on yourself - so give yourself treats every now and then and just watch the rest of the time - You can do it!!!!
and I am for sure also one of those who gains weight looking at food! and I work out ALL the time - if I didn't I swear I'd be like 60 pounds overweight
