Difference between rooms at Sandals Grande St Lucia?

We're about to book our honeymoon. Finally! Yay, so exciting!

Anyway, is it worth it to book the oceanfront room? Which block is best? If you reserve a specific block, do you actually get it? We're not getting a suite, and we're not getting the lowest level room. So, we can get:

Luxury Beachfront Room - BL

Grande Luxe Oceanview Room - GO

Luxury Oceanview Room - LX

Premium Room - PR

Who has stayed in these, and are they worth it?

The difference we're trying to figure out is between an Oceanfront and a Beachfront room. My FH may actually call a travel agent today to find out. They're about $60 difference per day--why?

I'm pretty sure the 'beachfront' is on the side where there is actual sand & beach to walk out on.....'oceanfront' is just the view - no beach???? i kinda remember that being the difference! We had ocean front.....it was a little more private - and there were a whole 15 steps of pavement walkway that led down to the beach. so you're really not missing out~!

We stayed in an oceanfront room. I wanted privacy and quiet. We had a gorgeous view of the ocean and it was totally secluded. The beachfront faces all of the pools and the bay. We didn't want to have to worry about hearing the music at the pool and wanted a more private balcony where we didn't have to worry about seeing anyone.

ETA: I think we had a Grande Luxe Oceanview Room - GO

We stayed at the lowest room at the Grande because we heard from many that it wasn't worth the money for the upgrades. We absolutely loved it!!!!! We actually faced the pools, on the first floor and didn't hear a darn thing!! And I am a light sleeper. Facing the ocean side is nice, but it's not even part of the resort. the way i did it was i booked the cheapest room that still had room service, lol

i think it was the penthouse oceanfront concierge room?

not true - we were in the main building and faced the ocean. I consider that part of the resort.

But the ocean was on the other side of the fence. The only way to get to the ocean on that side was to go off the property. There is the beach on the side of the pools, which is part of the resort. But it sounded like people were distinguishing between the pool side and the ocean side. The side without the pools is a nice view, but not part of the resort.
