White is 'true' white and mostly bright. Diamond white is 'off' white and almost ivory, but whiter than ivory and without the hint of yellow.

You need to decide what color your dress is going to be before you buy the veil. A white veil will make a diamond white dress look 'dirty' and vise versa.

if the dress is silk - chances are good it's diamond white - because silk cannot be pure white.
can you call the store to check? i originally bought a white veil and then realized my dress was diamond white - you can tell the difference.
