Curious what do they not serve
I once was the date of a best man at a wedding and he liked kettle one so the bartender had a separate bottle for Him and I. (It was at a restaurant tho where they had a full bar downstairs but I guess didntniclude all the liquor at reception

I would speak with them and ask them if they can substitute something else for something you do drink. It's your wedding and they should have told you this when signing the contract with them. I don't think it should be an issue.

My venue is allowing us to bring what we want if they can't it we just can't take it out of the venue if it isn't consumed.

My my sisters wedding, she walked into her hall and they asked what she would like to drink, she said her favorite, a chocolate martini (made with bailys, not just vodka) and they said they didn't have that. Her husband called a friend who brought the bottles and they served it to only her. They will accommodate the bride! Make sure of it!

Fox Hollow was able to substitute alcohols for us. FH really likes Tullemore Dew for a whiskey instead of Jameo, so they were able to sub it for us - even put it in the contract!

We were asked at our final meeting if there were any special alcohol requests. We named a few things and they got everything we asked for. No extra charge and they didn't substitute, this was in addition. I assumed this was standard, I can't imagine making a special request and it not being honored!

Whaat? Where are you getting married? Just bring a bottle and give it to them. You should be drinking whatever you want that night.

Wow really? When I had a sit down and talked to a venue, they discussed if we liked specific drinks and wanted them stocked. That doesn't seem right.

I'm so tired of the wedding industry. Everyone is always trying to nickel and dime you. I'm sorry you had to pay extra, but at least you will have exactly what you want.

Glad to hear that you will be able to have your drink at your wedding, just not happy about you having to pay extra for it. It's unfortunate in this industry it's always about the money.

That's crazy!! You just paid them thousands of dollars, they can't buy you a bottle of what you want!! What did you request?
