Well, what do you mean by different exactly?

Is there anything you do NOT want to do - or can't do???

OHH I just had an idea - are you and your girls cool with the outdoors??

That time of year, New England (MA, NH) is GORG with the leaves - maybe do some kind of tour up there, camping (but not totally roughing it).

You can go to Boston and tour the Sam Adams brewrey too so you get some city time.

I know for a FACT they do leaf peeping tours - we used to get them on campus all the time (I went to school in NH) since 1 of the only couple covered bridges in the US was based on our campus. Could be really different.

ooo that is really different.

i was thinking, not too much alcohol since my sister/MOH is only 19 and can't 'legally' get in anywhere.

i'm not the clubbing kind at all either. Wanted to do a cruise to nowhere but there isn't anything that time of year

ETA: there is one cruise that time of year but it is 2 nights and therefore too expensive

This might be WAY too different but you could always do a maple syrup tour up in Maine - you just have to check the time of year you can do that though.

Whale Watching too off the coast of the cape - again, check the time of year on that

I'm just all about the NE area during October b/c it's just soooooo gorg up there.

Also - it's a pretty quick ride. Boston is like 3 hours and even parts of Vermont are like 4 hours. So easily done on a weekend.

OHHH maybe rent a cabin up in Vermont. That way you don't have to worry about going out to booze, you could do it at the cabin and still do some fun outdoor type things.

So true, I know around that time of year boston.com puts out a scenic route that you can download to your GPS.

what about a karaoke or a comedy club and then staying over night at a hotel in the city maybe. trying to think of ideas that wont make the under 21 girl feel left out, whats that bowling place in the city thats supposed to be really fun, Strike or Lucky Strike? something like that.
