Different BM Dresses??

Different BM Dresses??

I have one MOH
2 BMs and 2 JBMS (ages 10 and 13)...

I chose a BM dress and a JBM Dress that are very similar...both will be in the same color and fabric...and my 2 BMs wanted straps added because they are a bit bustier on top...

here is my question...it will be obvious that they are the bridal party, as they will all be in coordinating gowns, same color, length and fabric...and same exact BKs...but since they are not exactly the same and uniform, will it look awkward or weird?
...does this look work or is it too all over the place??

any opinions or pictures would be helpful!

i think it is totally fine to have them in different dresses. my girls are not matching...same color, fabric and length but thats it. they are all wearing a dress they are comfortable in.

I actually like this look better. I think it is more modern and the dresses usually end up flattering the individual body types better. As long as it is the same fabric and color from the same designer, it will look cohesive.

Love the idea of it!! But worried cause I've seen it go horribly wrong a few times. I think as long as each dress is kinda simple it works well. I saw some that some girls had one shoulder and others had strapless or some had pick ups and others were a-line or mermaid and it just looked kinda weird.

But the picture that was posted with the blue dresses above looks really cute. I guess as long as they are more of a simple dress it still looks semi uniformed without being too off

look in my album labeled 'wedding purchases and decisions' i have three different dresses for all my BMs i will have the 5 bridesmaids wearing a straight across strapless, my maid of honor in a v-neck and the matron of honor in a one shoulder. they will all be the same, length, color and fabric i think thats the trick to keeping it looking cohesive. i like this look better than everyone in the same dress it gives a little personality to the bridal party look

It will work ...I seen so many wedding party that wear different dresses bc of there body tpes and it look gorgeous and its going to be the same color ..it will not look werid

For a friends wedding we all had same designer color length but different style. They were all similar so it was subtle but it looked great. She went with bill levkoff

I think it is fine to have them in different dresses. My ladies are wearing same color, fabric and length but thats it. I want them to be comfortable and to like their dress.

I had 2 MOH's and 5 BM's. The 2 MOH's wore the same designer, colors and fabric. The 5 BM's also wore the same designer, color, and fabric but different from the 2 MOH's. I LOVED the way it looked. Attached is a picture

I'm letting my BMs chose their own dresses. I just told them which color to get.

I totally agree! My BMs got to choose between 3 different styles of dresses. My BMs will all be in the same color but I put my MOH in a different color too. I don't really like the look of being too matchy matchy

I am having my 4 BM wear one dress, and then my two MOH each wear a different dress (so three styles all together). I think as long as the fabric, length and color are the same, it will be fine!

Not weird at all! I'm have all Amsale long crinkle chiffon gowns but different cuts on top.

All of my girls have different dresses in the same color and material by the same designer.. this way everyone can look good and feel good in their dress.
